History: Naeris was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food.
