History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Thervan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Roofer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

History: He was born in the south. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
