Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Rael hails from a village terrorized by giants. Rael was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Rael decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Butcher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Paelias was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
