Personality: Naeris is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Naeris and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
