History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cook. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Lucan was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. After months of barely getting by, Lucan managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: The child of a Courier, who enjoyed hunting, Korfel was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Korfel took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
