History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Rolen and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rolen discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves.
