History: He was born in the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Lucan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.
