His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Theren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to goblins.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to get a good night's sleep

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Beiro is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of a Performer, who enjoyed hunting, Beiro was taken on many hunting expeditions. His first spouse was a Performer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Beiro fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
