History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Riardon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Riardon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Berrian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
