The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Personality: Arannis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Unemployed and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
