History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by giants. His first spouse was a Crown-heir, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
