History: He got into the Performer business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
