Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Soveliss grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Soveliss. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
