Personality: He is fixated on the number 44. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Paelias was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Scribe. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is black and very short. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against goblins

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears professional attire. He has wavy chestnut hair. He has violet eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ahvain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahvain. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears just a brown suit. His brown hair is lengthy. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Laucian grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and he's looking for his big break
