Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolen embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Rolen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rolen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Laucian reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he wants revenge against orcs
