Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Adran's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
