History: Born to a Butcher, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: The child of a Engraver, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Naeris learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
