History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A 5'0" eastern man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Gifted from a young age, Korfel studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. He has worked as a Priest like his father before him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
