One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tailor for the past few years.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and expand his business

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
