Personality: Mindartis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Mindartis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Traki was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is content

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times, and is pretty ugly. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Azaki grew up listening to his father's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

He has moderate length black hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is greedy.
