Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This man is very fat, and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His hair is golden and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his religion dominates his actions

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he's repulsed by the pc

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
