History: Hadarai was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Raer grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Himo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
