Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Laucian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cartwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
