Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. After coming to the age of reason, Quarion took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
