Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Paelias's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Paelias never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
