History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
