Personality: He is fixated on the number 39. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Nutae was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He usually wears his grey robe and has his scimitar always slung over his shoulder. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His silver hair is braided into rings. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Guard profession.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shoemaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shoemaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miller. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
