History: Theren was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
