He worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

History: The child of a Laborer, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
