History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He struck the Apothecary job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He takes great joy in being the best Miller in town.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Berrian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Berrian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Miller like his mother before him.

Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and sabotage a competitor

History: He was born in the south. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Crown-heir again; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears tattered old clothes. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fivin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fivin. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
