Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Personality: He is fixated on the number 44. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Fletcher. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Ahvain enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has worked as a Barrister like his mother before him.
