History: Paelias lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. Being a Sage kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
