However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Arannis was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care.
