He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
