History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. His hair is long and golden with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to share knowledge with the world
