History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Aelar reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Personality: Rolen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but he was a colossal failure. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Adran and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: Efferil was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Roofer for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new roofer responsibilities is difficult
