Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Arannis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born into a rich family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Carrie's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Carrie was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
