History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Efferil grew up listening to his father's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Berrian has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture
