His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Lucan was born with his mother's beautiful face. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Guard. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
