History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Gennal's homeland. Gennal decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Gennal liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Gennal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Heian has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
