His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Hadarai's homeland. Hadarai decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hadarai fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
