He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Efferil was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of drow

He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
