Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Stableman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to reunite with his absent father

History: Paelias was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Lamlis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
