History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thervan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Roofer, but he got bored and became a Priest. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the east to a Shipwright, Nim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
