History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Varis's homeland. Varis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
