Through the years after Berrian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Berrian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Aerdeth was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His childhood dream was to be a Sellsword, but he was a colossal failure. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sellsword they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Cartwright. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Eiravel is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He struck the Cartwright job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
