History: Born to a Baker, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and wants his loneliness to end

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vanuath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vanuath. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
