History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Heian was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Soapmaker. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is long and unkept. His eyes are green.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Nim will drive conversation. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nim. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He worked as a nervous Bowyer and found it very stressful. He tends to his Bowyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bowyer responsibilities is difficult; and seeks redemption
