Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Laucian was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Blacksmith responsibilities is difficult; and he is greedy

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, marred by sweets. His hair is short and brown. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Soveliss fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many drow want him driven away

As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His childhood dream was to be a Blacksmith, but he was a colossal failure. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
