Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He tends to his Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Mason father left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to unite with his brother
